De kleine, rustige minicamping “Oldeholtpade” ligt aan de rand van het gelijknamige dorp, in de nabijheid van het natuurgebied "De Lindevallei". De camping heeft 15 ruime plekken met een eigen stroomaansluiting. Ook is er één trekkershut, voorzien van gas en stromend water. Er zijn ruim voldoende sanitaire voorzieningen, met gratis warm water. Verder is de camping eenvoudig van opzet.

Reserveren is niet verplicht. Zoek gerust een plekje uit; tegen de avond komt de gastheer bij u langs om u in te schrijven. Mocht u toch graag een plekje willen reserveren dan kunt u dat telefonisch of via e-mail regelen.

In het dorp Oldeholtpade zijn twee gezellige dorpscafés. Hebt u geen zin om te koken, dan is het goed te weten dat zich op loopafstand van de camping ( 200 meter) ook een prima eetcafé bevindt. Het eten is er lekker, de porties zijn ruim en de prijzen dorps. Het nabij gelegen Wolvega biedt volop vertier. In de zomermaanden is er bijna iedere donderdagavond een braderie, waar regelmatig optredens of evenementen worden georganiseerd. Ook de Oudheidkamer Weststellingwerf is zeker de moeite van een bezoekje waard.

De natuur in
Lopend vanaf de camping via onze eigen landerijen bent u direct in onze gevarieerde bossen. Daar kunt u direct aanhaken bij een van onze drie wandelroutes, die stuk voor stuk de prachtige omgeving van het dorp laten zien.

Fietsend kunt u bij ons vele kanten op, maar de Lindevallei-fietstocht is uniek in zijn soort. Fietsen zijn te huur bij de plaatselijke fietsenwinkel.

Met de auto bent u voor uw boodschappen of voor een gezellige winkeldag vlug in Wolvega, Heerenveen of Steenwijk. De camping kan ook prima dienen als uitvalsbasis voor verschillende natuurtochten. De nationale parken Weerribben-Wieden (Giethoorn) en het Drents Friese Wold zijn gemakkelijk vanuit Oldeholtpade te bereiken. Ook het Friese meren gebied is niet ver weg.

Een bezoek aan de camping hoeft u voor de prijs niet te laten; een overnachting kost € 4,00 per persoon en € 4,00 per plaats. Een fiets met trekkerstent slechts € 2,00. Sinds kort heeft de camping ook een eigen website, u vindt alle informatie over deze camping op www.minicampingoldeholtpade.nl.
